HBCU Brewing Community United is Harlem Hopes’ innovative contract brewing and education initiative focused on uplifting aspiring brewers of color—especially HBCU alumni—by removing barriers to entry in the beer industry.

Harlem Hopes HBCU Homecoming Porter – Bourbon barrel-aged porter brewed with Brooklyn Brewery and Uncle Nearest Whiskey.
La Renaissance Du Monde – Harlem-style Tripel made with Four City Brewing and Harlem Blue.
Fruited Sour, Hazy IPA, Pier 57 Lager, Imperial Stout, and more – all developed through collaborations with top brewers and artists.
Education & E-Learning
Offering culturally relevant Beer Education, Hospitality, and Entrepreneurship curriculum.
Partnering with Salesforce and UNCF to introduce e-learning tools at HBCUs.
Workforce development programming including on-the-job training and craft beertending certification.

We are building global partnerships to export Black-owned beer brands to Africa and beyond while importing African ingredients. Our goal is to uplift villages and communities of color by creating local beer economies.
